Nexus Student Conference 2009

We have won the Gold Award for Best Society in the UK from the IOP at this years NEXUS Student Conference. Some of the physoc committee preformed a short play in front of the President of the IOP and the IOP NEXUS reps, who along with the audience voted us to be the best society out of the 8 that were short-listed for the prize. Silver and bronze went to Kent and Sheffield.

Nexus Student Conference 2008

In 2008 Physoc won an award from the Institute of Physics for the Best Publicity and Communications in a physics society. Thanks to Mikee who was out publicity and communications guy on the council that year. For winning, we were given a load of tickets for an all expenses paid trip to see CERN. These tickets were given away in the Physoc Big Bang Social.
