Physoc Big Bang
Friday 19/02/2010 19:00
Next Friday sees the end of campaign week and the handover of the Physoc committee. Following on from the success of last year’s ‘Big Bang’, we will be taking over the Physics building once more for a night of challenges, cake, beer, awesome prizes and free Kinki tickets!
Interested?… If so, you’ll need to muster a team of four hardy physicists to compete in a series of challenges that will be tough, gruelling and slightly edible in places. The top three teams will all win prizes as described below:
- First place – four tickets to either Thorpe Park or Go Ape (Your choice!)
- Second place – Tickets for go-karting session.
- Third place – Smokey Pizza vouchers.
The challenges are split into four sections – knowledge, skill, teamwork and food (yes, more free food) – so make sure you pick your team wisely.
After the challenges, both the prize giving and Physoc election results will take place in the seminar room – this will be in the presence of much free beer and cake. To finish the evening off, Physoc will be providing free entry to Kinki, where the celebrations must surely continue….
To enter, each team member needs to pay a measly £1 on the night, which gets you all of the above! – Sign your team up on the Physoc notice board.
To sum up – four physicists, £1 entry each, Friday 19th, 7pm start, physics building, free beer/cake/kinki-tickets, fantastic challenges and prizes (thorpe park, go ape, go karting, pizza), election results, new committee, Big. Bang.
See you there!
