Physoc Golden Globe awards

The basic idea is that groups of around five people will pub crawl the usual route through Portswood. Each team will be given a disposable camera (supplied by us), and will be tasked with creating an epic motion picture storyboard (ie a set of still pictures that will tell a story). You will also get paper to record captions for each scene.
At the end of the night, the cameras will be collected, processed the following week and judged – the best storyboard will win a prize. Hopefully we will also get the storyboards online for all to see.

Bonus points will be awarded for the following:

• Best action scene
• Best romantic/emotional scene
• Scene involving as many non-physicists as possible
• Best panoramic scene
• Best props and costumes
• Nakedness
• General comedy
  Also on top of this there are super-bonus points to be had if you can get Gandalf into your story somewhere (must have beard and staff – horse optional (but super-super-bonus points if you can get this in)).

So what do you need to bring? – As many props as possible to allow for scene variety as you set up your film sets around the many pubs in Portswood, and also costumes, but these are optional.

Here are some ideas to get you thinking – horror films, box office rip off’s, superheroes, adult genre etc etc.
